These rules are mashed up from other great Hackathons before us (MHacks, PennApps, McHacks, & Hack Illinois)
- All submissions must be made by participants accepted to, and physically at Prime Hack.
- All code written for a submission must be written by the submitting team at Prime Hack during the designated hacking time, with the exception of third party libraries publicly available to every participant.
- Treat all other hackers with utmost respect. Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and racist, sexist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate for this event. If at any point you see a fellow hacker being harassed, it’s your responsibility to talk to the nearest hackathon organizer.
- Treat our sponsors with the utmost respect. Without them nothing would be possible. Take some time out of your work to go meet and speak with them. If they come over to talk to you look up from your work and give them a bit of your time. They're here for you! Show them you appreciate it.
- All teams must not exceed 5 participants.
- Don't steal another team's source code.
- The decision of judges is final for determining prizes and awards.
- All final judging decisions are at the discretion of the Prime Hack organizing team.
- In the event that any of these guidelines are not followed, Prime Hack reserves the right to revoke prizes and disqualify teams.
- Participation is closed to family members of judges. Upon participation in this event, it is implied that we reserve the right to share your resume and other application material with our corporate, startup, hardware, and vc sponsors.
- By attending Prime Hack, you acknowledge that your picture and video may be used without compensation, prior permission, or notification in any promotional material related to Prime Hack.
